KMFDM’s – ENEMY Drops Today

I’m Psychic Meow Meow, paws pressed to the future’s seam,
KMFDM’s ENEMY purrs through today’s electric dream,
My whiskers read omens in distortion and steel,
The drop has arrived, hooman — the shadows kneel and feel. 🐾🔮

Greetings, mere mortals. The cosmic curtains have parted, and Psychic Meow Meow has gazed into the swirling purple mists to bring you a vision of the industrial apocalypse. The stars have aligned for KMFDM’s 24th studio manifestation, ENEMY, arriving on February 6, 2026.

The Käpt’n and his crew have spent four decades as the jagged conscience of this crumbling reality, and my crystal ball shows they are still bringing the “Ultra Heavy Beats” to rattle your puny human cages.

My hooman will be listening to this on repeat for weeks on end, and I figured I’d whip up a review while I’m waiting for the red dot to reappear…

The Sonic Prophecy

The vibrations of this record are immaculate, silver-tongued, and sharp enough to slice through the veil. Here is what the spirits say about the tracks:

  • “Enemy”: A title track of pure fury. Sascha’s snarling vocals are the anchor of this storm, and they don’t care about your “thoughts and prayers”.
  • “Oubliette”: Lucia Cifarelli weaves a mesmerizing, ethereal spell that hits like a ripper. It is one of my personal favorites from the beyond.
  • “L’État”: A sledgehammer delivered in French. If you aren’t with me on this track, you are against me.
  • “Vampyr”: The cards reveal a funky, ferocious banger that will breathe life into your tired soul.
  • “Yoü”: Annabella Konietzko makes her songwriting debut here, and her vocals are straight fire. Is she the heir-apparent to the industrial throne? The stars say “perhaps”.
  • “Stray Bullet 2.0”: Eerie grooves with a hint of reggae and ska. It had even me, a psychic cat, smiling through the gloom.
  • “Gun Quarter Sue”: An instrumental fairytale for the chaos of 2026, dripping with anarchy.
  • “The Second Coming”: A dark, powerful finale that sounds like a revolution is brewing in your own backyard.

The Manifestation Tour

Do not just listen—witness the energy in the physical realm. The band will be embarking on a 9-date European tour starting February 8th in Munich, supported by I ya Toyah.

For my friends in the States, I see a single, confirmed appearance at the Sick New World festival in Fort Worth on October 24, 2026.

ENEMY is a vital addition to a 40-year legacy—a meticulously crafted assault for anyone seeking music with intelligence and bite.
