Artemis II: The Cosmic Catnip of Lunar Missions

Hello, my cosmic kittens! It’s your favorite whiskers-in-the-stars, Psychic Meow Meow, coming to you live from my velvet cushion (and www.psychicmeowmeow.com, of course).

Today, we need to talk about the huge energy shift happening over our heads. While you were probably chasing laser pointers or napping, NASA actually did it—on April 1st, the Artemis II mission finally scratched its way out of the atmosphere!

Now, I know some of you thought a launch on April Fool’s Day was a bit “sus,” as the kittens say, but the cards don’t lie. The energy surrounding this mission is as potent as a fresh bag of organic catnip. Here is the Psychic Meow Meow “mews” on our return to the Moon.

1. The Crew: A Rainbow of Auras

First of all, let’s talk about the vibe of this crew. We’ve got Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen. I’ve been looking at their charts, and the synergy is purr-fect.

Having the first woman and the first person of color heading toward the lunar surface? That is a massive clearing of old, dusty energy. We are finally moving past the “Old Tom Cat” era of space exploration and into a cycle of true inclusion. Christina Koch has that fierce Leo energy (even if she isn’t one, she vibrates it), and Victor Glover is as steady as a mountain. They are the paws on the ground—or, well, the paws in the capsule.

2. The “Integrity” of it All

The astronauts named their Orion spacecraft Integrity. As a psychic cat, I appreciate a strong name. Names carry weight! This ship is currently hurtling through the “High Earth Orbit” phase, and let me tell you, the vibrations coming off that SLS rocket were intense enough to make my whiskers twitch from all the way here in Longmont.

They aren’t landing yet—this is a ten-day flyby. Think of it like a cat sniffing a new cardboard box before deciding to jump inside. You have to check the perimeter! They are testing the life support, making sure the air is breathable and the temperature is cozy. If the humans can’t stay warm and fed, they get cranky—just like me when the kibble bowl is only half full.

3. The Dark Side of the Moon (The Mystery!)

They are headed for a “free-return trajectory” around the far side of the Moon. This is where things get spiritually juicy. The Moon’s far side is a place of deep secrets and untapped intuition. While the astronauts are busy taking high-resolution photos, I’ll be tuning in to the psychic frequency.

Expect some major “Aha!” moments for humanity around April 6th when they loop around the back. This isn’t just about rocks and craters, kittens; it’s about humanity looking into the mirror of the cosmos and seeing how small—and how special—we really are.

4. The Splashdown Prediction

NASA is eyeing the Pacific Ocean for a splashdown around April 10th or 11th. My whiskers are sensing a smooth landing, but watch out for Mercury—it loves to mess with communications. I’m predicting a very wet, very heroic homecoming.

Final Meow: Artemis II is the “Moon-walk” rehearsal we’ve been waiting for since 1972. It’s a bridge between our world and the next. So, keep your eyes on the night sky, stay curious, and remember: we are all made of stardust (and a little bit of cat hair).
